How to Prepare Artwork for Embroidery Digitizing
Five quick checks that get you a cleaner file and a faster turnaround.
Great embroidery starts with good artwork — but it doesn't need to be perfect. Here's what helps us most.
1. Send the largest version you have
Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) are ideal, but a high-resolution PNG works great too.
2. Tell us the final size
A left-chest logo and a jacket back need completely different digitizing.
3. Mention the fabric
Pique polos, caps, fleece and towels all need different underlay and density.
4. Keep tiny text above 5mm
Anything smaller won't read clearly in thread — we'll suggest tweaks if needed.
5. List your thread colours
Madeira, Isacord or Pantone references help us match your brand exactly.
